Jonathan Dougherty

Hailing from Orlando, Florida, Jonathan Dougherty has always had a passion for business and marketing.

After graduating from the University of South Florida with a degree in Journalism, his first job was as a reporter and feature writer. Early in his career, he had his own ad agency and spent time in the corporate financial world as a contributing writer for financial, corporate, legal, and lifestyle publications and websites.

Jonathan earned a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Barry University – Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in Orlando, Florida. He also earned a Master of Laws (LLM) degree focusing on International Business, Trade, and Tax Law from Saint Thomas University College of Law in Miami Gardens, Florida.

Later on in his career, Jonathan spent time as the Vice President in charge of the legal departments of a large Florida-based managed healthcare organization.

Experiencing the need for elder care in his own family, Jonathan earned his certification as a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP). Jonathan is dedicated to bringing clear and easy-to-understand information to seniors and their families at a time when they need it most.
