Stephanie Deatherage, Manatee & Pinellas County Senior Living Advisor

Stephanie Deatherage is a dedicated senior living professional with more than two decades of experience in Activities and Operations. Originally from Corvallis, Oregon, she moved to Sarasota with her two boys in January 2024. She is licensed as an Assisted Living Administrator in both Oregon and Florida.

Stephanie’s passion for senior care began with deeply personal family experiences—first supporting her mother as she cared for Stephanie’s stepfather on hospice, and later helping her uncle who lived in her assisted living community for many years. These early experiences shaped her belief that senior living is not just a profession but a calling rooted in compassion, dignity, and genuine human connection.

Throughout her career, Stephanie has been recognized for excellence, earning multiple Activity Director of the Year awards as well as the Administrator of the Year honor with Hawthorn Senior Living. She is known nationally for her creativity and ability to engage residents, having gone viral for her music videos and playful community shenanigans—projects that brought joy and vibrancy to the lives of those she served.

An outgoing and enthusiastic leader, Stephanie brings high energy, innovation, and heartfelt commitment to every community and family she supports. She looks forward to bringing her driven work ethic and passion to Senior Consulting Advisors. Her vision and goal is to support seniors and their families while navigating the journey with them—ensuring they feel informed, supported, and cared for every step of the way.

Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys local community events, spending time at the beach, and staying busy with her kids’ sports and fishing activities.
